Join Notre Dame's Pre-College Programs in Fall 2021 to earn a college credit with Notre Dame and meet other students from across the country and around the world!

This virtual program offers rising sophomores and juniors the opportunity to engage with Notre Dame International faculty teaching at the University's London Global Gateway and Kylemore Abbey Global Centre in Ireland!

Students can choose from five course options, including:

Irish Literature: Myths, Legends, and Folklore

Global Issues and Challenges

Economics of International Trade: Trade Deals and the European Union

Environmental Conservation and Sustainable Thinking: Natural Places as Heritage

Science Fiction in Twenty-First Century: Boldly Go to a Galaxy Far, Far Away

The program is designed to give high school students a taste of what studying abroad at the college level is like and to be challenged on topics not typically offered in the high school curriculum. Participants earn college credit upon completion.

Gabby Stimac, a high school sophomore from Indianapolis, Indiana, participated in the Art, Covid, and Black Lives Matter: The Global View from London course in Fall 2020 saying, “What I liked most about Global Scholars was the way I was able to expand my knowledge about current events that are affecting the world in major ways today, but also in another part of the world with people from all over the globe.”

Class sizes will be kept small to allow students to develop meaningful connections with classmates and benefit from individualized instruction by Notre Dame faculty.
