Since its inception in 2014, the Global Engagement Programs have welcomed over 1200 visiting international students to the campus of the University of Notre Dame. The curation of our programs is grounded in a commitment to promote intercultural learning and the belief that intercultural experiences should be accessible to everyone. Whether it is for two weeks or a whole academic year, our students’ experiences are life-changing, their worldviews are stretched, and their motivation is heightened during and after their time at Notre Dame.
The Global Engagement Programs team prides itself in a personalized approach that supports each and every student in our programs. In doing so, we promote students’ academic and personal growth in mind, body, and spirit according to the mission of our university.

Global Engagement Programs strive to provide transformative and innovative intercultural learning experiences, internationalize the Notre Dame campus and community, and develop outstanding academic opportunities for international students through non-degree seeking and short-term programs at our home under the Dome.
