Exchange Partnerships
The University of Notre Dame has established valuable undergraduate exchange partnerships across the world. Each semester we send students abroad and receive students at Notre Dame through these exchange partnerships that help to internationalize not only our campus, but also our community.
American Semester Abroad Program Partnerships
To welcome students from non-exchange partners, the global engagement team created the American Semester Abroad Program (ASAP) - a fee-paying, one-way visiting international student program that allows students to take courses at ND for credit for a semester or a year. While an official agreement is not required for students to participate in this program, we are proud to have established numerous partnerships across China, Saudi Arabia, Germany, and Guatemala.

The global engagement team also partners with institutions and organizations from all over the world to create the ideal program that meets their students’ academic and co-curricular needs.
